Modern Equipment: The world of heavy machinery changes! With new technology coming into place, you need a school that has that technology available to you to learn on. Before applying, ask to visit a school. Take a tour and see what kind of shape their equipment, and their classrooms, are in.
Reputation: A school with great training and modern equipment and technology may not be worth the time if their reputation isn’t great. Check with local trucking companies and ask them where their best drivers came from. If one school is mentioned more than the others, you know where to point yourself.
